NEHI's research and policy agenda reflects the multiple approaches that health care stakeholders are taking towards delivering improved efficiency in health care delivery, better health outcomes for patients, and greater value for the U.S. health care system.

NEHI has always focused on work to accelerate access to innovations that add value to our health care system. We continue this core function by pursuing projects that incorporate the role that innovations must play in improving health equity.

There is a growing consensus that we have a behavioral health crisis in this country, a crisis that will not be solved by one innovation, one policy, or one health care sector. NEHI's agenda reflects the need to share promising treatments and pursue policies and practices that provide access to effective care for those who are most vulnerable.
